Combines centerline tracing and hatch filling in one pass. Thin strokes (outlines, handwriting) are traced as single-line paths. Thick strokes and filled regions are densely hatched so a Cricut pen can color them in solidly.

Black/white cutoff for converting your photo to binary. Raise it to capture lighter strokes; lower it to ignore background noise.
Thickness (1–20 px)
The cutoff between "thin" and "thick" regions, measured as the distance from a pixel to the nearest background. Strokes thinner than this value are centerline traced (single pen path). Regions thicker than this are hatch filled (dense parallel lines). For typical handwriting outlines, 3–5px works well. Raise it if hatch lines are appearing on strokes you want as single lines.
Pen width (mm)
The physical tip width of your Cricut pen. The hatch lines are spaced at exactly this distance so adjacent lines touch and produce a solid fill. Uses 72 DPI (Cricut's native import resolution). Common values: 0.25mm (extra fine), 0.4mm (fine point), 1.0mm (medium).
Hatch angle (0–180°)
Direction of the fill lines. 0° is horizontal, 90° is vertical. For crosshatch, the second pass is offset by 90° automatically.
Stroke (1–5 px)
Line thickness in the output SVG. Cosmetic only — doesn't affect the traced paths.
Smooth (0–5)
Smooths the centerline paths by removing points that are close to a straight line. At 0, every pixel is a point (jagged). At 1–2, curves are clean and natural. Higher values simplify more aggressively. Does not affect hatch fill lines.
Min path (1–50 px)
Discards centerline paths shorter than this. Cleans up spurious skeleton branches from thick areas.
Hatch pattern
Zig-zag: pen never lifts inside a shape (fastest). Parallel: pen lifts between lines (cleaner). Crosshatch: two perpendicular passes for denser fill.
Invert
For light-on-dark images (chalk, white pen on dark paper).
